- Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo:
where you can see an extraordinary sequence of mosaics depicting scenes from the life of Christ and the martyrs. Each image is an open window onto the spirituality and culture of the Byzantine era.
- Basilica of San Vitale:
a sublime example of early Christian art. Its mosaics, including the famous depictions of Emperor Justinian and Empress Theodora, will leave you breathless with their majesty and detail.
- Mausoleum of Galla Placidia:
where you can admire celestial mosaics that glitter with deep blue and angelic figures that seem to come to life. This little gem is an oasis of peace and beauty, perfect for immersing yourself in the mystical atmosphere of the past.

The tour must be booked and paid for online or at one of our offices at least 12 hours before departure. Without a reservation, we cannot guarantee participation in the tour.
- Access to the Archbishop's Museum
It will be possible to access the Archbishop's Museum only at the end of the tour. If you wish to visit at another time, you will need to purchase the cumulative entrance ticket again.
- High season
During high season, it is recommended to book well in advance as places may sell out quickly.
- Radio guides
If possible, bring your own earphones with a jack connection for the radio guides that will be distributed if necessary.
- Voucher:

Lovely to learn Ravenna through a local
Our guide has a lot knowledge on the city and it's history. You can see the sights even
without a tour but to know it's history you need to be in a tour like this. Please be
prepared to walk but its all level walking not much stairs/steps.

A Complete Expérience of the Mosaics of Ravenna
Our guide was outstanding. In addition to visiting every mosaic site, she thoroughly explained the artistic creation of the mosaic tiles and told the history of Ravenna and the political and religious environment that resulted in the composition of each mosaic. If you only do one tour in Ravenna, this should be the one.

Lovely to learn Ravenna through a local
Our guide has a lot knowledge on the city and it's history. You can see the sights even
without a tour but to know it's history you need to be in a tour like this. Please be

Traces of glory - Private guided tour to a hidden Ravenna
By following the traces that marked its history, we will introduce you to a hidden Ravenna, off the beaten tourist track, discovering the glorious past that made it famous, through an itinerary in search of lost elements of which only a few traces remain.
This time journey will first lead us to the Arian Baptistery, one of the most important testimonies of the Arian-Hostrogothic cult in Ravenna (later condemned to heresy), where we can contemplate the mosaic decoration of the dome, which makes it one of the city's Unesco heritage sites.
